Automated Transfer Switch Control
A site with one supply has one point of failure. This build gives a facility four, and a controller that decides between them in the time it takes a light to flicker. The logic, the board, the wiring and the screen were all built and commissioned by GSS.

What the job actually involved.
What the controller does
- Watches all four incoming sources and ranks them by priority
- Transfers automatically when the live source drops out of tolerance
- Holds an interlock so two sources can never be closed together
- Returns to the preferred source once it is stable again, without a second outage
- Logs every transfer, so an argument about downtime has a record behind it
Inside the cabinet
- Main distribution board with the switchgear sized to the site load
- Contactors and mechanical interlocks on every source
- PLC carrying the transfer logic and the timers
- DIN rail distribution, labelled and tested circuit by circuit
- Delta HMI on the door for status, source health and event history
Where it belongs
- Fuel stations that cannot stop dispensing during a cut
- Plant rooms and pump sets that must not lose their sequence
- Server rooms, clinics and any load where a manual changeover is too slow
- Sites running generator plus grid plus solar, where priority matters
