What the job actually involved.
Mechanical
- Pump skids assembled, aligned and set on their bases
- Distribution headers and pipework run, supported and insulated
- Valves, strainers and gauges placed where they can actually be reached
- Pressure testing and balancing before anything is signed off
Electrical and control
- Switchgear and distribution boards for the plant room load
- Control cabinets for the pump sets and their sequencing
- Cable containment, glanding and labelling throughout
- Interfaces out to the building management system where one exists
